Types of Wood

We favour the use of domestic wood species for the production of your steps. Not only do we use local suppliers, we also reduce our carbon footprint.

As quality is a priority for us, we work with woods that provide strength, durability and attractiveness.

  • Maple, Natural or Select Grade

    Maple, the symbol of our country, is a wood species highly valued for its strength and robustness. Its grain has a beautiful texture that can match all kinds of styles.


    To suit your decor, you can choose between the natural grade, which is more colourful, and the select grade, which is more uniform.

  • Cherry

    Cherry, also known as yellow birch, comes in a wide variety of shades, from creamy white to golden brown and reddish highlights.


    It's easy to tint and blast, and it offers smooth, silky and uniform textures, making it an excellent choice for an interior staircase.

  • Red Oak

    aRed oak provides an outstanding quality of wood. The richness of its grain gives your steps an unparalleled appeal. With its great durability, it adds a warm and modern style.


    It fits perfectly with all types of styles, from traditional to contemporary.

  • White Oak

    White oak is a rough and delicate wood. Renowned for its strength, it's durable and can complete a modern style as well as a more classic one. Its grain provides the perfect balance.


    It gives your space a classic look that is both attractive and luxurious. Yet, it's still affordable.

Compliance

Some thicknesses or dimensions may not comply with the building code depending on the type of staircase or stringer. That's why we help you choose the thickness and size of your wooden steps.
